Poetry, Short Story and Flash Fiction open to unpublished work from any writer writing in English over 16. Novel Award restricted to UK writers, and to British adn American writers living abroad. Entry fee: £12 per poem, £14 per story, £11 for flash fiction and £24 per novel
Prize: 
Poetry and Short Story 1st Prize £5,000, Flash Fiction 1st Prize £1,000. Novel Award a year's mentoring and critique

The Bridport Prize has four sections: Poetry, Short Story, Flash Fiction and Novel Award.

The Selfies Book Awards UK 2023

The Novel Prize 2022

Open to a book-length work of literary fiction written in English by published and unpublished writers from round the world. No entry fee
Prize: 
$10,000 to the winner and publication of their novel by Fitzcarraldo Editions in the UK and Ireland, Giramondo in Australia and New Zealand, and New Directions in North America

Fitzcarraldo Editions, Giramondo Publishing and New Directions have announced the biennial Novel Prize for a book-length work of literary fiction of at least 30,000 words written in English by published and unpublished writers from round the world, recognising 'works which explore and expand the possibilities of the form, and are innovative and imaginative in style'.  Read more

Deborah Rogers Foundation Writers Award 2021

Applications for the 2021 Deborah Rogers Foundation Writers Award are now invited.

Submissions can be made until 1 July 2021.

The judges of the 2021 DRF Writers Award will be Colm Tóibín (Chair), Deepa Anappara, Anna James and Ingrid Persaud. They will announce the shortlist of three in November 2021 and the Award will be presented in London on 7th December 2021.  Read more
