The Winchester Writers' Conference Competitions
This conference has no less than 18 competitions, covering almost every form of writing you can think of. They are run as part of the Winchester Writers' Conference, but you do not need to take part in the conference to enter your work.
Deadlines:
Friday, 25th May, 2012 for First Three Pages of a Novel, Short Story, Shorter Short Story and Local History
Friday,1st June, 2012 for all other competitions
Eligibility: All entries must be in English, be original and unpublished work, written by one author and must not have won an award in any previous competition
Prizes: various, see link below
Competition fees:
£7 per entry if you are attending the conference, or
£9 per entry for those not attending the conference
