English Association's Fellows' Poetry Prize
The inaugural Fellows' Poetry Prize, sponsored by Professor Emerita Miriam Allott, has just been announced with a closing date of:
1 December 2006
The theme is 'Reading'
The judges are Andrew MotionEnglish poet, novelist and biographer; Poet Laureate of United Kingdom from 1999 to 2009; during his laureateship founded the Poetry Archive, an online resource of poems and audio recordings of poets reading their own work, Peter Porter and Deryn Rees-Jones.
First prize £500, second prize £300 and third prize £200.
