Julia McCutchen

Julia McCutchen, who provides our Coaching service, is the author of The Writer’s Journey: From Inspiration to Publication. She works as a Writers’ Coach and a Professional Publishing Consultant presenting coaching, courses and classes which open the way for people who want to write a book for publication.

A former Director and Publisher of Element Books, Julia has also worked with Penguin, as a Publishing Consultant for Random House and is currently a Trustee Director of Alternatives in London.

Emily Gale

Emily Gale specialises in children's books. She worked at Penguin straight after university and later at Egmont, where she worked with authors such as Anne Fine, Michelle Magorian, Bel Mooney, Stephen Potts, Helen Dunmore and Adèle Geras.

 She has experience with both fiction and non-fiction and has devised and written many books herself. Having worked with the very best editors and publishers in the industry and dealt with top literary agents, she now works as a freelance editor, writer and consultant.

Robert Lambolle

Robert Lambolle, WritersServices’ specialist Scriptwriting editor, brings a huge amount of professional experience to the assessment of scripts, plays and screenplays. He also assesses manuscripts about cinema and the performing arts.  He set up his own literary consultancy in 1985 and is a reviewer, writer, creative writing teacher and editor, as well as being an associate of three London literary agencies. Over the years he has helped many writers from all over the world get their work into shape for submission and publication.

Robert also has professional theatre, film and TV experience as writer, director, producer and actor, including productions at the Royal National Theatre. He is still involved in performance, with his own theatre company.' He has also lectured in Theatre, Literature and Film at various British and American colleges.
