Book charities
Supplies much-needed books to developing countries, raising funds from
publishers and the general public. Its 'Reverse Book Club' is a masterly
idea - for just £5 ($10) a month you can provide 48 books to go to where
they're most needed.
Educationaid
Education Aid collects books, CDs and educational video
films for developing countries. Books including overstocks, damaged, older
editions and review copies are needed for all age group schools,
undergraduate and graduate studies on various subjects to support education.
