It is a good idea to use the search facility to identify agents who deal with your type of writing. You could also search for established writers and discover which agent represents them. Alternatively, search for the genres that agents say they handle to find one that might be interested in your work. It is vital that you do this research to maximise your chances of finding an agent to represent you.
